Extra info:
Etsu Double Orange Gin is distilled in the Akita distillery, in the Japanese prefecture (administrative region) Akita on the island of Honshu. Akita Prefecture is located on the coast of the Sea of Japan and extends east to the Ōu Mountains. By the way, this is the longest mountain range in Japan.
It is these mountains where the Etsu Gin Double Orange gets its fresh and light aromas. The Gin is macerated for seven days with traditional botanicals such as Japanese bitter orange peel, juniper berries, licorice root, angelica and coriander. After this, the gin is distilled without the botanicals, so that the oils can soak in well.
