Here you have a bubble new style. Nice and soft and sweet, meant to drink ice cold on the rocks. Preferably from a large glass from which you also drink gin and tonic, possibly with a slice of lime or a sprig of mint. Calvet Ice consists of chardonnay and is made according to the traditionnelle method, so just like champagne. The carbon dioxide is created during the so-called second fermentation in the bottle itself. This process is very smooth and that is why the bubbles are so beautifully small. They provide a soft bubbly feeling in your mouth. Cheerful wine to party with.
