Taste: La Trappe Isid'or was brewed in 2009 on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of OLV van Koningshoeven Abbey. The harmonious taste starts out fruity and then turns into malty caramel; a perfect balance between complexity and simplicity. The beer is named after Brother Isidorus, the abbey's first brewer.
Finish: pleasantly bitter.
